Famous for it’s hospitality
Almost forgot to mention Doreen from Lerwick. She came to us minutes
after we finished and were mooring along the pontoon. Do you need a
shower and breakfast maybe? I forgot that this is the Shetlands,
famous for it’s hospitality. Doreen is a volunteer from the boating
club lerwick and she took us to het home were we could shower. She
also washed our salty clothes and served us breakfast (bacon eggs and
beans). Not all the ships were that lucky, but most of them got a host
from the Shetlands who helped them the 48 stop.
