Delay overruled

Because of the strong winds (30+ kts) and stronger prognoses (40 kts), the race director Peter Taylor decided to delay the race for 24 hours. not all skippers were content with this decision, so the discussion started in the race office if this was against the rules of the rb&i. fFinally the Royal Western in Plymouth overruled the decision of Peter. No delay from the race office. Every boat may start after the regular 48 hours rest. It is the decision and responsibility of the skippers if they find it safe to leave.
